Oh, and I forgot to mention, I won't be in the Springville, Lehi, Provo, or Spanish Fork parades this year. Due to remodeling of the HS, it's a complete disaster. So, don't take your time looking for me...
But, I will be in the Santaquin one on Aug. 7th, and The Payson one, which is sometime in September. I get the dates later.

My 40 Hour Guard Project

I'm creating my very own solo project. It's going to be a "guard-dance" solo thingy.
It's for my 40 hour project. I'm going to be doing my solo, while someone tapes, so I can be a stinking show-off, and get an "A" (hopefully)
But, I need some people's input on the song I should do. I want to do something "instrumental", and so I picked my favorite 4 songs from the "Vitamin String Quartet", and posted on my blog for people to listen to.

We Are The Champions, My Friends!

WE TOOK FREAKING 1ST AT STATE! WE ARE THE NEW 2010 UWGA CIRCUIT CHAMPIONS!!!! PAYSON IS THE STATE CHAMPIONS!!!! OMD! I can't believe it! AHHHHHHH!!!!!! I'm still in awe! I'm just so glad that all that hard work a dedication payed off this season. Hundreds of hours over the last 5 months has finally led up to this! After coming back from a disapointing season last year, Payson is finally back, baby! :)

My Greatest Work Yet!!!

Sadly, PHS guard didn't have the funds to order "guard parent" jackets this year. My mommy really, really wanted one, so me and her went and spent $40 on sparkly sequent letters, and shiny little gems, (the sad thing is just the black jacket was only $9...) and made my mom, A GUARD MOM JACKET!!! YAY! So, I was up until almost midnight, working on it! Check it out!

We're not completely done with it! We are sticking on little paw prints all over the jacket! But, now everyone will know that she's riding with the best guard in the state, and the proud parent of a PHS guard member! :D

The Lions are ON FIRE!!!!

"Undefeated! The PHS Winter Guard still remains UNDEFEATED!!! With 4 straight 1st place wins in Orem, Payson, Tooele, and Riverton, makes them the top guard in "Scholastic Intermediate A", and one of the top guards in the state!"

Wow! That sounds like something you would hear in a news paper, or on the news! Hahahaha! But, yeah! Last night, we took our 4th First Place win in Riverton! I was totally certain that AF Junior (American Fork A) was just barley going to beat us out! But, I guess we managed to come out on top. For the first time, I was nervous to get beat out! Either that, or I was nervous that I was going to pass out from being drugged up on Cold Medication.

So, yup! One of the best guards in the state! Hahaha! It's fun to say. But, I only have 1 more Competition before state. My next one is @ West High in Salt Lake City on March 27th, and the UWGA Circuit Championship is @ Roy High School on April 3rd!

Stuff, Stuff, Stuff.....BLAH!!!! (Marching Band, and the Usual Geeky Stuff....)

The face of someone who has absolutely have no clue what she's doing (that, and a bad hair day) My dumb sponge curlers betrayed me, so now my hair looks like a pile of dog.....never mind.
I had the nerve to get on this laptop, and write about some random stuff, because I'm so freaking bored, no guard, no homework, nothing....this is my entertainment. :(

So, as you are all aware, (yes, you) that I've been going to SO many freaking guard competitions that I'm about to scream! Yup, but scream with excitement! We've won 3rd place in the AA division in both the Nebo Tournament, and the Rocky Mountain tournament @ BYU.
But, anyway the sad news is that we only have 2 more performances before marching band is over for the season/year! One this week, up in freaking freezing cold Logan @ USU, and one down in Sweet, Sunny St. George (My 2nd Summer) :D After marching band, if I make it, I will be put on the PHS Winterguard team! WOO!!!!! :P If all goes well.....

This One Time At Band Camp....

Okay, it's annoying! I can't tell anyone that I was going to Band Camp without someone quoting the American Pie: Band Camp quote; "This One Time At Band Camp..."! So, anyway, that's why it's the name of this entry! XD

But, I just barley got back from Band Camp today! What a long 4 days! Working through drills for 3 days straight! From 8 in the morning, to 9 at Night! Felt more like boot camp than band camp!

So, on the last full day of Band Camp, the whole band and colorguard was working on our field show. So, when I was doing a some jump in my routine, when my ankle flew under me, and I landed on top of it! That's right! I MESSED THE SAME ANKLE AGAIN!!!! The Same one I almost broke back last December while skating! I couldn't believe it! And, 12 days before school starts! Oh, joy!
It wasn't terribally bad! I didn't have to pratice the field show, Didn't have to ride the bus home, and I got some of the cute band members to carry me around! ;) Hehehehe.....

But, besides the positives of spranging my ankle, the camp was a living nightmare!

Can't wait until next year.....Let me tell Ya! XD

OMG!!! I SEE JO BROS!!!!

I WAS WORKING AT STADIUM OF FIRE FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY, AND GUESS WHO I GOT TO SEE?!?! GUESS WHO!!! THE JONAS BROTHERS!!!!!! OMG! IT WAS FREAKING SWEETNESS! I WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF WORKING CONCESSIONS FOR A WHILE, TO GO SEE THEM!!! IT WAS SO MAGICAL!!! I GOT REALLY CLOSE TO THE STAGE, AND EVERYTHING! I ABOUT LOST IT WHEN I GOT UP CLOSE! TOTALLY THE BEST INDEPENDENCE DAY EVER!!! I THOUGHT I WOULD EVER SEE THEM, BUT I ACTUALLY SAW THEM! I'M STILL FREAKING OUT THAT I SAW THEM! HEHEHEHEHEHEHE!!!!!

Okay, I got to calm down! Hehe! Now, I'm totally dying to get their new CD, and see them in concert, since I only saw them for a short amount of time before I have to go back, and work! :(

Aw! I'll have to see when they come to Utah, or somewhere close like that so I can go see them! :D
